Kazakhstan to implement various projects to attract investments into textile industry

Kazakhstan is planning to implement 41 investment projects worth 52 billion tenge ($136.7 million), Kazakhstan’s Minister of National Economy Ruslan Dalenov said, Trend reports with reference to Kazakh media.

Dalenov said that the implementation of the projects is planned for the period from 2020 to 2024.

“Country’s processing industry, particularly, implementation of investment projects which oversees switch to new technological level of production of goods and services, will be conducive to attracting investments,” Dalenov said.

Dalenov said that 31 projects worth 26 billion tenge ($68.4 million) which will create 478 new jobs is planned for 2020. He explained that 16 of these projects worth 10.4 billion tenge ($27.3 million) will be finished in 2020, whereas implementation of another 15 projects amounting to 25.1 billion tenge ($66 million) will commence in 2020.

He added that 11 of the future projects worth 8.2 billion tenge ($21.6 million) will be concerned with textile goods' production, 17 projects worth 16 billion tenge ($42 million) - with clothing production, and another three projects worth 1.5 billion ($3.9 million) will be concerned with leather goods' production.

The minister added that export of bed linen of Kazakh manufacturing increased by 96 times, whereas export of goods increased by 25 times.
