Azerbaijan’s textile factory talks about production plans for 2020

Azerbaijan’s Baku Textile Factory intends to increase the production volumes of finished goods this year, a source in the Baku Textile Factory told Trend.

“The factory increased the production volumes up to 10 percent for certain types of textile products since the beginning of this year,” the source said.

“The production volumes of women's clothing, as well as socks increased,” the source said. “The factory increased the production volume by 40 percent in 2019 compared to 2018. This figure is planned to be brought up to 50 percent and more in 2020.”

“Each month, the factory sells textile products worth up to 600,000 manat ($352,941),” the source said. “This figure is planned to be increased up to 750,000-800,000 manat ($441,176-470,588) this year by expanding the range of products. Another production line of women's clothing is planned to be launched in April.”

“Today, monthly volumes of women's clothing reach 32,000-35,000,” the source said. “The production volume will increase up to at least 40,000 per month after launching the new production line.”

Presently, 300 people work at the Baku Textile Factory and seven production lines are used.

The company has been operating since 1939. In fact, it was the first textile factory in the South Caucasus.

Currently, the factory continues to operate according to the principles of the European standards. The factory has been provided with the latest equipment and technologies from Germany and Japan. The experienced specialists are working there.

The factory produces everyday clothes, evening dresses, corporate clothing, children's clothes, sportswear, medical uniforms, as well as overalls, school uniforms and all types of workwear, including promo clothing and military uniforms.
