Trend:
A new high-tech production line was opened at the Kainar-AKB battery factory in Kazakhstan, Trend reports with reference to the press service of the akim (head of local government) of Kazakhstan’s Almaty region.
As a result, the volume of products manufactured by the factory will increase from 2.5 million batteries to 3.3 million batteries per year.
The project was implemented within the memorandum of cooperation between Kainar-AKB and the International Green Technologies and Investment Projects Center.
“The launched technology is advanced and expands the possibilities of using old car batteries during the production of own products,” the specialists said.
The new models of the battery housings will be completely made from recycled materials, which are recycled on a new modern production line of Italian "INZHITEK" company with complete neutralization of the electrolyte using an industrial treatment plant.
It is important to emphasize that the new technological line will reduce the negative impact on the environment, as it is equipped with local cleaning filters.
"Earlier the factory produced 2.5 million batteries per year, then after the introduction of this line, which is as automated as possible, the volume will increase to 3.3 million batteries,” Director General of the factory Serikbay Azhmagambetov said. “It is important that the new line helps us to preserve the environment, reducing the impact on the environment. In general, 1,200 people have been employed at the factory."
By the way, the domestic producer of storage batteries "Kainar-AKB" LLP exports its products to the CIS countries and Europe, China, the United Arab Emirates, and Italy.
The factory produced 2.5 million batteries in 2019, of which 1.5 million were exported. Some 2 million batteries have already been produced over 10 months of this year, of which 1.3 million pieces were exported.
