The machinery and equipment, cars, trailers, and semi-trailers, other vehicles worth 187.5 million manat ($110.3 million) were produced in Azerbaijan’s Baku city from January through September 2020, Trend reports on Nov. 5 with reference to the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee.
The production of machinery and equipment decreased by 27.6 percent, while the production of cars, trailers, and semi-trailers increased by 9.4 percent from January through September 2020 compared to the period from January through September 2019.
The production of sucker rod pumps decreased by 39.1 percent, fire extinguishers - by 80.9 percent, fountain fittings - by 65 percent from January through September 2020 compared to the period from January through September 2019.
In general, machinery and equipment, cars, trailers, and semi-trailers worth 232.7 million manat ($136.9 million) were produced in Azerbaijan from January through September 2020.
The production of machinery and equipment increased by 28.9 percent and other vehicles - by 72.2 percent from January through September 2020 compared to the period from January through September 2019.
