Russia remained an active participant in the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan in December 2020, Trend reports with reference to Turkmenistan’s exchange.

Entrepreneurs from Russia bought dyed terry products, cotton yarn, and fabric, as well as handmade carpets in foreign currency during trading on Turkmenistan’s exchange in the first week of December.

Businessmen from Russia also used foreign currency to buy gasoline, mixed paraffin gas, aviation, and lighting kerosene, diesel fuel, polypropylene produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries of Turkmenistan during trading on the exchange of Turkmenistan in the second week of December 2020.

Also, in the second week of December, Russia purchased colorless flat glass, smooth – colored and jacquard terry products, cotton fabric, and yarn, dried licorice roots and rhizomes, polyethylene and liquefied gas in foreign currency, and cotton yarn - in the Turkmen manat.

As for the third week of December 2020, Russian entrepreneurs purchased gasoline manufactured at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries of Turkmenistan, as well as technical sulfur, liquefied gas, and gasoline, smooth-painted and jacquard terry products, and cotton yarn on the Turkmen exchange in foreign currency.

In addition, the subject of transactions of entrepreneurs from Russia was fine-grained potassium chloride.

Businessmen from Russia purchased colorless sheet glass and cotton yarn in foreign currency during the auction in the last week of December 2020. In addition, technical sulfur has become the subject of transactions of businessmen from Russia, the UAE, Turkey, Hong Kong, and Afghanistan.

The state commodity exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important agency of state regulation of export-import operations.
