Turkey actively participated in the trading of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan in December 2020, Trend reports with reference to the exchange.

Representatives of Turkey purchased products on the exchange of Turkmenistan throughout November in both foreign currency and Turkmen manat.

In the first week of December, Turkey purchased urea, dyed terry products, cotton yarn and fabric, as well as handmade carpets on the Turkmen exchange in foreign currency, and cotton yarn in the Turkmen manat.

During the second week of December, Turkey purchased gasoline, mixed paraffin gach, aviation and lighting kerosene, diesel fuel, polypropylene, colorless sheet glass, smooth - colored and jacquard terry products, cotton fabric and yarn, dried roots and rhizomes of licorice in foreign currency, while cotton yarn was purchased in Turkmen manat.

Also, Turkey purchased smooth-colored and jacquard terry products and cotton yarn in foreign currency on the exchange of Turkmenistan during the trading in the third week of December.

As for the last week of last month, Turkey bought colorless flat glass and cotton yarn, as well as cotton yarn of various types, for the Turkmen manat on the exchange of Turkmenistan.

In addition, technical sulfur was the subject of transactions of businessmen from Russia, the UAE, Turkey, Hong Kong and Afghanistan in the last week of December.

Turkey also actively participated in the trading of the State Commodity and Tae Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan in November 2020.

The state commodity exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important agency of state regulation of export-import operations.
