Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan sees annual decrease in retail trade

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Feb. 15

The retail trade turnover of Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic amounted to 92.1 million manat ($54.1 million) in January 2021, having decreased by 2.7 percent compared to Jan. 2020, Trend reports the monthly report of Nakhchivan’s State Statistical Committee.

In the reporting month, the foreign trade turnover of Nakhchivan made up $31.9 million, which is 2.8 percent less compared to the month of 2020, reads the report.

As reported, in the structure of foreign trade turnover, exports made up $24.1 million, having annually grown by 0.5 percent.

At the same time, imports of the autonomous republic in Jan. 2021 amounted to $7.75 million, which is 11.7 percent less than in the same month of last year.
