The activities of 1,360 manufacturing enterprises have been restored in Iran since the beginning of the current Iranian year (March 20, 2020) to Feb.17, Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade and Head of Iran Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization (ISIPO), Ali Rasoulian said, Trend reports citing IRNA.
According to him, in total, the activities of 1,500 small and medium-sized enterprises in Iran are estimated to be restored by the end of the current Iranian year (until March 21, 2021). About 91 percent of enterprises have been restored so far.
The deputy minister added that there are various reasons for the suspension of enterprises. The problems related to liquidity, lack of markets, lack of services have led to the suspension of enterprises.
Rasoulian stressed that there are 45,000 manufacturing enterprises in industrial parks in Iran.
There are 84,000 industrial enterprises in Iran. About 93 percent of them are small industrial enterprises.
