In total, 865 billion rials (about $20.6 million) have been invested in industrial plants in the Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province (western Iran) since the beginning of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2021) to date, Deputy Chairman of the Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of the province Mohammad Kazem Monzavi said, Trend reports citing the organization.
The deputy chairman said that investment increased by 43 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year.
Kazem Monzavi added that as a result of this investment, 29 industrial plants have been launched so far, which is an increase of 20 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year.
“A total of 137 people were employed with the launch of the plants,” he said.
As reported, there are 921 industrial enterprises in Iran's Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province.
