The volume of Azerbaijan’s export of non-oil products has grown from January through June 2021, Trend reports referring to the ‘Export Review’ of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC).
According to the review, exports of non-oil products in the reporting period increased by $1.16 million or 27.1 percent compared to the same period of 2020.
So, sugar exports increased by 2.5 times, ferrous metals and products from them - by 2.4 times, cotton fiber - by 2.1 times, aluminum and products from it - by 49 percent, cotton yarn - by 2.4 times.
As a result of the complex measures taken in Azerbaijan, the negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on non-oil exports was reduced and dynamic growth of exports was achieved.
