BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 12

By Elnur Baghishov – Trend:

The passenger car manufacturing of Iran’s Saipa Group increased by 14.1 percent during the first three months of the current Iranian year (from March 21 through June 21, 2021), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports citing the group’s website.

According to the report, the company manufactured a total of 110,558 passenger cars over the 3 months. While in the same period last Iranian year, the company had manufactured 96,925 passenger cars.

“Within the three months, the company delivered 120,000 cars to customers. This is an increase of 30 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year,” the report said.

So, about 93,000 passenger cars had been delivered to customers in the same period last Iranian year, the report said.

Despite a number of problems (bank exchanges, devaluation, raw materials supplying, spare parts supplying, US sanctions against Iran, coronavirus pandemic), the company aims to increase manufacturing.
