The head of Iran's presidential office said the process of transferring mines to the private sector is done transparently and publicly.
Referring to the power outage of heavy industries such as steel and cement, Mahmoud Vaezi said that this situation is temporary and due to rising temperatures in the coming weeks, Trend reports citing IRNA.
It was decided to allow some industries to operate from night to morning, including cement and steel companies.
"This is a temporary measure and we are taking the necessary measures to provide them with free electricity to compensate for their damages,” he said.
