Over 12,200 cars were imported to Uzbekistan in seven months of 2021, Trend reports with reference to Uzbekistan’s State Statistics Committee.
From January through July, the country imported cars worth $258.3 million from 21 states. At the same time, the volume of auto imports decreased by 5,983 vehicles compared to the same period last year.
The largest exporter of cars to Uzbekistan is China with 3,751 cars.
South Korea comes next with 3,187 cars, with Russia in third place with 2,589 cars.
During the reported period, Kazakhstan exported 1,330 cars to Uzbekistan.
Moreover, Poland exported 386 cars, Lithuania – 312, Thailand – 250, the US – 238, Germany – 70, Japan – 56.
