BAKU, Azerbaijan, Oct. 4

By Elnur Baghishov – Trend:

The value of Iran’s exports from the Semnan Province (northern Iran) increased by 40 percent during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through September 22, 2021), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Director General of the Semnan Province Customs Office, Ali Sadaddin told IRNA, Trend reports.

According to Sadaddin, Iran exported 112,000 tons of goods worth $169 million to 33 countries from Semnan Province over 6 months.

“The exported goods were light and heavy hydrocarbons, construction materials, including ceramics, cement, washing powder, rubber and mining products, and so on,” he added.

The director general noted that strengthening management in production may result in increased exports. On the other hand, it is not profitable to produce large quantities of goods without exporting them.
