Iran unveils details of its trade turnover with Oman

The value of Iran's trade turnover with Oman is expected to exceed $1 billion in the current Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022), the head of Iran-Oman Joint Chamber of Commerce Mohsen Zarrabi said, Trend reports citing Trade Promotion Organization of Iran’s website.

According to Zarrabi, necessary steps are being taken to create trade infrastructure between the two countries, increase trade turnover and remove barriers.

The official added that the value of Iran's trade turnover with Oman in the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through September 22, 2021), increased by 49 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year and amounted to $547 million.

“Within six months, the value of Iran's exports to Oman amounted to $277 million. Meanwhile, in the same period last Iranian year, the figure stood at $166 million, which means an increase of about 67 percent,” he noted.
