Turkmen Commodity Exchange discloses data on imports from west European countries

Turkmenistan imported a variety of items from western European countries in December 2021, Trend reports citing the latest available data of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.

In particular, Turkmenistan imported 16 items of different product categories from Belgium during the reporting period. According to the exchange, the products included engine oils, wallpapers, and wiper kit for cars.

From France Turkmenistan imported 60 items of different categories including engine oils, and various car spare parts.

Turkmen imports from Czech included 80 items of different categories such as sanitary engineering, and electronic accessories.

Meanwhile Italy exported to Turkmenistan 111 product items during December 2021 among them furniture, home accessories and electronics.

In terms of quantity, Germany is the largest exporter of goods to Turkmenistan among the west European countries in the reporting period, according to the data of the exchange.

The top exports of Germany to Turkmenistan were 389 items of different categories such as various car spare parts, sanitary engineering, electronics, technological devices, and engine oils.

The least category of products were imported from Spain (7 different item categories) namely furniture, floor tiles, car spare parts, Hungary (5) - car spare parts, Portugal (3) - sanitary engineering, Austria (2) - hygiene products and car spare parts, the Netherlands (1) – electronic device, Sweden (1) – engine oil, Finland (1) - ferrous sulfate.
