BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 13. As many as 53 facilities for manufacturing of agricultural products were put into operation in the Qazvin Province (northern Iran), on June 12, Trend reports citing Iran's Qazvin Province Agriculture Department’s website.
The facilities were put into operation for livestock and poultry, horticulture, processing industry and others.
A total of 1.35 trillion rials (about $32.2 million) has been spent on these facilities. The funds were provided by the government, bank loans and private sector investment.
In general, 224 people were provided with jobs with the launch of the mentioned facilities.
About 80,000 farmers work in the agriculture sector of Iran’s Qazvin Province.
