TEHRAN, Iran, August 15. Iran has officially recognized imports by using legal cryptocurrency mining from mid -September, said the head of Iran Trade Promotion Organization Alireza Peymanpak, Trend reports citing IRNA.
Any individual who has permits for mining cryptocurrency is allowed to register orders to import goods, he said in a TV interview adding that the administration has a special view toward the private sector trade and seeks ways to improve non-oil trade.
Peymanpak pointed out that the PMO is planning to use cryptocurrency capacity and prepared the ground for foreign trade and that Iranian businessmen can trade blockchain and import in return.
The Iranian Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine, and Trade has indicated that the government's efforts are to facilitate foreign trade.
