BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 11. Iran's non-oil exports to neighboring countries amounted to nearly 29.3 million tons worth over $12.3 billion, during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through September 22, 2022), Spokesman for the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) Rouhollah Latifi said, Trend reports citing the administration.

According to Latifi, Iran's non-oil exports to neighboring countries for 6 months increased by 10 percent in value, while decreased by 19 percent in volume compared to the same period last Iranian year.

Details of Iran’s exports to neighboring countries for 6 months:

Iraq - 9.86 million tons worth $3.38 billion;

The UAE - 5.82 million tons worth $3.11 billion;

Türkiye - 4.1 million tons worth about $2.63 billion;

Afghanistan - 1.58 million tons worth $792 million;

Pakistan - 1.31 million tons worth $561 million;

Oman - 1.54 million tons worth $542 million;

Azerbaijan - 372,000 tons worth $363 million;

Russia - 622,000 tons worth $339 million;

Turkmenistan - 631,000 tons worth $206 million;

Kuwait - 2.35 million tons worth $82 million;

Kazakhstan - 273,000 tons worth $75 million;

Qatar - 464,000 tons worth $65 million;

Bahrain - 4,840 tons worth $3.9 million,;

Saudi Arabia - 476 tons worth $247,000;

Other countries - 426,000 tons worth $177 million.

“Over 6 months, Iran's non-oil trade turnover with neighboring countries amounted to 38.6 million tons worth about $24.2 billion. This is an increase of 7 percent in value, while a decrease of 18 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year,” the spokesman noted.
