BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 8. Iran's export of non-oil products to African countries increased by 19 percent in value and 9 percent in volume, during the first 10 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through January 20, 2023), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Deputy Chairman of the Iranian-African Businessmen's Club Rouhollah Latifi said on social media, Trend reports.

According to him, in total, Iran exported about 2.25 million tons of non-oil products worth more than $1.1 billion to African countries.

“Within the mentioned period, Iran’s goods were exported to 45 out of 54 countries of the African continent,” Latifi added.

The official also said that Iran mainly exported non-oil products worth approximately $283 million to the Republic of South Africa, worth $189 million to Mozambique, worth $144 million to Ghana, worth $142 million to Sudan, as well as worth $129 million to Nigeria, worth $44.6 million to Kenya, and worth $40.7 to Ivory Coast in 10 months.

As for Iran's total non-oil trade turnover with African countries for the reporting period, Latifi stressed that the trade turnover amounted to 2.33 million tons worth approximately $1.19 billion.
