BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 30. Iran's export of non-oil products amounted to 21 million tons worth $7.51 billion, during the first two months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through May 21, 2023), Director General of Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), Mohammad Rezvanifar said, Trend reports.

The director general noted that Iran's non-oil exports for the reporting period increased by 12.3 percent in value, while a decrease of 13.7 percent in volume compared to the same period last Iranian year.

Rezvanifar added that $592 million worth of propane gas, $538 million worth of liquefied natural gas (LNG), $411 million worth of liquid butane, $374 million worth of methanol, and $350 million worth of mazut were exported from the country in two months.

“During 2 months, Iran exported non-oil products worth approximately $2.42 billion to China, approximately $1.23 billion to Iraq, $835 million to Türkiye, $749 million to the UAE and $331 million to India,” he said.

As for Iran’s total non-oil trade turnover, the director general pointed out that the trade turnover amounted to 25.7 million tons worth approximately $15.5 billion in 2 months.

Reportedly, Iran's non-oil exports exclude only crude oil, white oil, and bitumen products.
