BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 2. Iran's non-oil trade turnover with Azerbaijan amounted to 323,000 tons worth approximately $207 million, during the first five months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through August 22, 2023), Trend reports.
According to the statistics of Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), the trade turnover between the two countries for the reporting period decreased by 33.5 percent in value, while increasing by 1.9 percent in volume compared to the same period last Iranian year.
So, Iran’s non-oil trade turnover with Azerbaijan stood at 317,000 tons worth $311 million in the same period last year.
Within 5 months, the main goods traded between the two countries were rubber materials, agricultural and food products, petrochemical products, industrial products, equipment, etc.
In the 5th month of the current Iranian year alone (July 23 through August 22, 2023), the non-oil trade of the two countries was 62,900 tons worth $31.4 million.
Overall, the value of Iran's non-oil trade turnover was $43.5 billion within the first 5 months of the current Iranian year.
