BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 29. The possibilities of Russian Kaluga region enterprises working in Azerbaijan were discussed during a videoconference between the Russian Trade Representation in Azerbaijan and business representatives of Kaluga region, Trend reports.
The videoconference was attended by Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in Azerbaijan Ruslan Mirsayapov, head of the Kaluga Region Export Support Center Lyudmila Dmitrieva, as well as representatives of companies from the region.
Mirsayapov spoke about the economic situation in Azerbaijan, favorable directions for Russian exports, specifics of negotiations with potential partners, international exhibitions in Azerbaijan, as well as the potential of the Trade Representation to support export activities of Russian enterprises.
The parties also discussed issues of logistics, payment and certification of Russian products, as well as practical issues of preparation of full-time business mission of the region to Azerbaijan.
This will be the third full-time business mission for the last two years.
The data of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan shows that Russia ranks third in the volume of trade turnover with Azerbaijan from January through August 2023 - $2.7 billion (26.82 percent growth over the year).
