BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 16. Azerbaijan's export mission to Pakistan will be organized at the end of the current year or in early 2025, Executive director of the Agency for Promotion of Export and Investment (AZPROMO) under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan Yusif Abdullayev said on the results of the Azerbaijani-Pakistani business forum in Baku, Trend reports.
“Within the framework of the “Preferential Trade Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan,” AZPROMO plans to organize an export mission to Pakistan in late 2024-early 2025,” Abdullayev said.
According to him, there is a great potential for cooperation between the countries at the level of private companies in the non-oil sector, and work is planned to develop this potential through preferences in trade.
To note, on September 16, within the framework of a business forum in Baku, representatives of Azerbaijan and Pakistan named the spheres of logistics, food and agriculture, tourism, and textile industry among the priority spheres for entrepreneurs of both countries.
