A delegation of the agricultural chamber of the Luara valley province of France was on a working visit in Azerbaijan from 30 August to 6 September.
The visit was performed in the framework of the accord on cooperation between the Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan and the Embassy of France, the French Embassy to Azerbaijan told Trend.
During the visit the French specialists visited the agricultural scientific center of Guba province in Azerbaijan and garden farms of the region. During the mission installation of the special agricultural equipment for promoting strengthening of the laboratory of the scientific center took place.
The cooperation will be carried on by training the specialists for operating the equipment and establishing the genetic facility. The Azerbaijani side voiced the intention to cooperate in testing of the new grades of grains.
