The Chamber of Accounts (CA) and the Finance Ministry of Azerbaijan took a decision that check-ups at Azerenerji Joint Stock Company (JSC) will not be extended any more and accomplished joint work at this JSC. The actual control is completed and for the moment the works on drawing up the relevant protocol are underway, CA told Trend.
The report is planned to be made up, which will be discussed at the collegium. As the source stressed, extension of the control period is connected with a large volume of work on the issue.
It should be noted the auditors carry out check-ups for expedient and targeted use of funds allocated for implementation of the project “Construction of the Enikend Hydro-Electrical Power Station” by Azenerji. Check-ups were authorized on 19 April 2005 and initially they were scheduled to be carried out during 1 month, then the terms were extended four times.
