The volume of pure international reserves (PIR) of the Azerbaijan’s National Bank (NBA) grew by 6,8%, and their growth since the start of the year was 18,96%. By 1 October 2005, the PIR volume was 5710,5 billion AZM against 5346,9 billion AZM by 1 September and 4800,2 billion AZM by 1 January 2005.
Pure internal assets were 3637,8 billion AZM against 3801,8 billion AZM by 1 September and 2715,1 billion AZM by 1 January 2005.
In the framework of the accomplished program for poverty reduction and development (PRGF) the government and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) agreed the following minimal levels of the NBA pure international reserves: 30 June 2005- 4,994 trillion AZM, 31 September 2005 - 5,332 trillion AZM, 31 December 2005 - 5,663 trillion AZM.
