“The salary of the Azerbaijani postal workers is expected to increase in February 2006,” Ali Abbasov, the Communications and Information Technologies Minister, told Trend.
According to Abbasov, additional subsidy will be allocated for postal sphere in January 2006.
“The salary is planned to increase in February 2006 and minimum salary will make up 150,000 manats,” the Minister underlined.
1,200 postal workers ( total - 4,000 ) receive minimal salary due to free postal services in the remote areas of the country.
