The Azerbaijan’s State Railway strengthened the passport control in passenger traffic, the head of the ASR press service Nadir Azmammadov told Trend.
According to him, no railway tickets are sold currently at the booking offices of the railway without producing the identity cards.
В"These measures are applied both while carrying the passengers both inside the country and in international routes. The passengers are to produce their identity cards by buying the ticket, its return and while boarding the train”, he said.
