Azeri orgs get $47.7 incomes from abroad

Over three fourth of 2005 local organizations gained $150.3m incomes from abroad, the National bank of Azerbaijan (NBA) told Trend. Over 9 months the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAR) received $22.7 incomes, NBA - $21.4 m, commercial banks - $3.6m.

The total overturn on the operations comprised $1,310,2m with 88.5% repatriated from the country. In particular, AIOC repatriated $857.6m as crude oil, non-resident countries involved in the Azerbaijani economy $84.6m as salary.

According to the State Statistics Committee, over three fourth of 2005 the balance profit of the Azerbaijani enterprises and organizations made up 79.97% of the profit over 2004 despite the 58.5% growth over the third quarter. Over three quarters of 2005 the balance profit of the enterprises and organizations was 7,101,2bn manats against 4,480,1bn manats over the first half-year, 4,480,1bn manats over 2004. As of 1 October the losses of the enterprises and organizations comprised 479.1bn manats against 329.6bn manats over the first half-year, 682.1bn manats over 2004.

As of 1 October 2005 the industry enterprises received 3,606,9bn manats profit or 50.8% of the total profit, transport enterprises - 1,657,1bn manats (23.3%), communications enterprises - 683.3bn manats (9.6%), construction enterprises - 454.4bn manats (6.4%). 50.2% of losses fell to industry enterprises, 21.3% - transport enterprises, 6.8% - trade and services enterprises.
