“On Wednesday AZAL State Air Lines Company opened new air flight Baku-Nizhniy Novgorod between Azerbaijan and Russia,” Ramin Mammadov, the head of the Company, told Trend.
According to Mammadov, the plane is planned to take off at 12.00pm [local time]. “The way will take 2.4 hours. The plane takes off from Nizhniy Novgorod at 15:30pm and arrives in Baku at 19:20pm,” he underlined.
Mammadov said that solemn ceremony would be held at Nizhniy Novgorod airport with participation of the representatives of AZAL, the Azerbaijani embassy in Russia and Russian airport.
He stressed that earlier the Company had a flight to Nizhniy Novgorod, but it was suspended and Tataristan Air Lines carried out flights in this direction. “Our goal is to increase the level of the services and carry out flights twice in a week,” Mammadov underlined.
