Azerbaijan participated at the next VII session of the Council of Heads of High Financial Control Bodies (HFCB) of CIS member-countries. Azerbaijan was represented at the session held in Minsk by the delegation of Accounting Chamber (AC) headed by the chairman of AC Namik Nasrullayev, Trend reports with reference to AC.
The head of the Azerbaijan AC delivered a report on the topic of Role of HFCB in upgrading national legislation.
The session brought together the representatives from Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Moldova and other countries.
In addition, the delegations were received by the Belarusian President Aleksandr Lokashenko. At the end of the session, a result resolution was adopted and it was decided to hold the next VIII session in October 2007 in Dushanbe.
The last session had been held in September 2005 in Kishinev, which was attended by Azerbaijan delegation headed by Nasrullayev.
Council of Heads of HFCB of CIS member-countries was created in 2000 to strengthen the interaction and coordinate the activities in state financial control and exchange of experience in the same sphere.
Within the event, a decision was signed between Accounting Chambers of Azerbaijan and Russia and Accounting Committee for Control on Republic Budget of Kazakhstan regarding audit of effectiveness of using water biological resources of Caspian Sea and supplies directed towards protection and efficient use of sturgeon.
