A draft code On Competition has already been submitted to the Azerbaijani Parliament (Milli Majlis), Mikayil Jabbarov, Deputy Azerbaijan`s Economic development Minister told, Trend reports.
According to him, the date when it is to be adopted will depend on the time and process of discussion in the parliamentary commissions and their introduction to the plenary sitting.
Its preliminary name was Antimonopoly Code. It was worked put on the basis of the recommendations of the World Bank which suggest attaching the status of law enforcement bodies to the Antimonopoly Department. The document has been passed an expert examination of this international organization.
