The next-generation S-Type is likely to be one of the most important models in Jaguar's history. Despite the heavily camouflaged front end, this test mule provides an important hint to the appearance of the next S-Type. The next-generation S-Type is rumored to be the first Jaguar that will break from the automaker's traditional styling. The front end shows a much more aggressive look than today's retro-styled car, with a grille cut deeper into the front bumper and highly sculpted hood and headlight surrounds. We expect the next-generation S-Type will be the first Jaguar sedan to feature a modern nose-down, tail-up stance, reports Trend.
The new S-Type is expected to debut at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show in 2007, before its European arrival later in the year as a 2008 model. We will see the S-Type in the States in the spring of 2008 as a 2009 model.
