By the end of 2006 the Azerbaijani Transport Ministry plans to purchase 30 buses with average seat holding capability. The Deputy Transport Minister Musa Panahov said that presently talks are being held with possible suppliers of transport conveyances from Korea and Germany, Trend reports.
According to Panahov, by the end of the year, after the completion of discussions from available options is over, it is planned to sign a contract with one of them.
Discussions concern the delivery of 200 - 500 buses of average seat places, which requires the resolution of financial issues. They will be presented to private companies involved in the passenger transportation. In the beginning of 2007 it is planned to supply large number of similar transport conveyances.
