According to the operative data of the Azerbaijan Finance Ministry, over 9 months of 2006, the volume of insurance returns to made up 62.89 m. AZN ($71.5 m.), decreasing by 9.73% versus the corresponding period of 2005, a source in the Finance Ministry told Trend today.
Totally 58.42 m. AZN ($66.4 m) at reducing by 10.7% fall at the voluntary forms of insurance out of the total volume of the returns. Notable, the weight of voluntary forms of insurance decreased from 93.9% to 92.89%.
The returns has increased by 5.18% on binding forms of insurance and made up 4.47 m. AZN ($5.08 m.). The weight increased from 6.1% to 7.11%.
Over the tree quarters of the year, the insurance payments increased on 192.86%, and made up 35.67 m. AZN ($40.5 m.). In this year, the weight of the payments on the voluntary forms of insurance has increased from 88.92% to 94.98%. The volume of these payments to October 1, 2006 made up 33.88 m. AZN ($38.5 m.) at the growth of 212.83%. The weight of the binding forms of insurance decreased from 11.08% to 5.02% and made up 1.79 m. AZN ($2.03 m.) in the reporting period. The increase of the binding payments was at the level of 32.59%.
