Aydin Bashirov, the head of the Azerbaijan State Caspian Shipping Company (KASPAR), announced that the Company has commenced delivery of liquefied gas from Turkmenistan, Trend reports.
Tow train ferries of the Company were upgraded to carry out this project. Special equipment was installed for the delivery of cisterns with the liquefied gas, he stated.
Mr. Bashirov said that there was no special terminal in Turkmenistan for the delivery of the liquefied gas to Turkmenistan. As a result there was a necessity to purchase special vessels for the transportation of these products.
