Expert: Fall of Concrete Slab from Newly Constructed Building in   Baku Might Occur due to Violation of Technical Process

Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend U.Ismaylova / The Executive Director of the Public Union "Participants of Real Estate Market", Nusrat Ibrahimov, said that the landscape of Apsheron peninsula has not been intended for the construction of many-floor houses. "Large number of the newly constructed houses may result in large-scale landslide," he said. According to Ibrahimov, it is not only reason and it needs to stop constructing new buildings in Baku.

"Many buildings in Baku are not constructed on fundament that should be made from metal and in depth of 100- 150 meters," he said. According to Ibrahimov, the recent fall of the concrete slab of the final two floors of the newly constructed building resulted from violating the technical process and technical security.

A number of people damaged as a result of the fall of the concrete slab.
