Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. I.Khalilova / Farhad Aliyev, the Executive Manager of the Association Bank of Azerbaijan (ABA), stated on the 11th of June that to familiarize with the work mechanism of the Commercial Banks Association of Latvia the ABA would go to Riga by the end of August / beginning of September.
The proposal was offered by Teodors Tveriyons , the president of Latvia Association, during his visit to Azerbaijan on the 7th of June.
Aliyev noted that they planned to familiarize with the Economic University and many other Higher Universities of Latvia, during their visit to Riga.
Tveriyons attended the seminar on mortgage credit organized by the ABA jointly with the Latvia Embassy to Azerbaijan. The guests from Latvia informed of their experience in this field.
According to the representative of the ABA, there is a lot of progress in mortgage credits granting in Latvia.
