Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend I.Khalilova / The Azerbaijani Export and Investments Promoting Fund (AZPROMO) reported on 20 June that the first Azerbaijani-Canadian business meeting was held in Baku on 20 June.
The visit of five Canadian companies, specializing in agriculture, was organized through the assistance of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Canada.
Ten representatives of Azerbaijani companies attended the meeting.
In spite of both sides showing interest, no contract was signed. Representatives from the Azerbaijani and Canadian companies spoke about prospects in agricultural cooperation between the two countries.
