Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend S.Aliyev / The development of a feasibility study of the Trans-Caspian gas corridor was discussed in a meeting between the Azerbaijani Deputy Transport Minister Musa Panahov, and experts of the European Commission led by Mikalis Spayrids.
The Transport Ministry announced that the European Union has undertaken clarification of the efficiency of the project, which envisages gas transportation from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan to Europe via Azerbaijan.
During the visit, an EU expert group will hold meetings with the senior management of the Azerbaijani State Railway and the Baku International Marine Trade Port, the Ministry said.
