Azerbaijan, Baku, 11 March / Trend / The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) drilled up to 35,105 m in January to February 2008, exceeding the forecast by 1,725 m and last year's figure by 4,736 m compared to 2007.
In February drilling reached 17,861 m.
The volume of exploration drilling totalled 33,773 m in January to February, which exceeded the forecast by 1,653 m and the last year's figure by 4,278 m. In February the exploration drilling totalled 17,281 m.
The exploration drilling comprised 1,332 m in January to February, which is 458 m more compared to 2007. In February the exploration drilling reached 580 m.
