Gas transit through Kazakhstan decreases by 3.5 percent in January-June

In January-June 2011, gas transit through Kazakhstan amounted to 39.238 billion cubic meters compared to 40.656 billion cubic meters during the same period of 2010.
In June 2011 gas transit through the country was carried out to the amount of 7.095 billion cubic meters compared to 7.548 billion in May and 7.244 billion cubic meters in June 2010.
Some 8.062 billion cubic meters of the total volume of gas transit through Kazakhstan in January-June 2011 accounted for Central Asian gas compared to10.699 billion cubic meters in June 2010.
In June, the Central Asian gas was transported through the country to the amount of 907 billion cubic meters compared to 1.97 billion in 2010.
