Kazakhstan is interested in the projects of Russian Skolkovo Innovation Center in seismic prospecting and space industry, Kazakh Prime Minister's press service quoted Russian innovation centre Skolkovo head Viktor Vekselberg as saying.
"Kazakhstan is interested in some our projects. In particular, I mean projects in the sphere of shelf seismic prospecting and space industry. We agreed to prepare a joint protocol, which will determine the main purposes, objectives and the program of activities in the near future," Vekselberg said following a meeting with Kazakh Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov.
Akhmetov attended Skolkovo on Monday within the working visit to Moscow. Within the meeting Akhmetov and Vekselberg discussed further Kazakh-Russian cooperation in the field of advanced technologies.
According to Skolkovo's head, the most prospective areas for bilateral cooperation are energy and development of oil and gas fields with the use of advanced technology.
