As of May 13, 2013, daily volume of gas supplied to the population of Azerbaijan was 6.6 million cubic meters compared to 15 million cubic meters as of April 22, a source in SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) told Trend.

According to the State Oil Company, gas consumption in the country has decreased dramatically due to improved weather conditions and rising air temperature. In particular, the figure is 3.9 million cubic meters per day for Baku.

"Some 2.7 million cubic meters of gas per day fall for the country's regions," SOCAR noted.
