As of December 14, the daily volumes of gas supplied to the population and other consumers in Azerbaijan amounted to 25.615 million cubic meters, the AzeriGas Production Union under Azerbaijan's state oil company SOCAR, which distributes and sells gas in Azerbaijan, told Trend Dec. 14.
In mid-November, this figure was at the level of 19.775 million cubic meters.
Thus, the demand for gas in Azerbaijan has increased by 29.53 percent, compared to November.
The daily gas consumption in Baku on December 14 amounted to 14.994 million cubic meters, in the regions of the country – to 10.621 million cubic meters.
According to the data of the AzeriGas PU, the number of gas subscribers in Azerbaijan exceeds 2.1 million, and the level of gas supply in the country is about 93 percent.
