Iran’s Ilam Gas Treatment Company produces 1.15M barrels of condensate

Iran’s Ilam Gas Treatment Company produced 1.15 million barrels of natural gas condensate in the first nine months of this Iranian year (started March 21, 2018), said Abedin Zargoushi, vice president of operations at the company, Trend reports via IRNA.

The production has increased by 7 percent compared to the similar period last year, he said.

Zargoushi added that the US sanctions have had no effect on the refinery’s production.

He said that in the nine months, the company has refined 1.37 billion cubic meters of sour gas, which shows a 45 percent increase.

The company increased production of sulfur pastilles by 10 percent compared to the same period last year and their output reached 47,000 tons during the nine months, he said.

The sale of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) increased by 85 percent, and reached 28,200 tons, he added.

During the reporting period, the company also sold 21,200 MW of electricity, he said.
