Georgia completes gas supply works in Mtskheta municipality

Georgian Gas Transportation Company has completed construction of pipelines for supply of gas to three villages of Bevreti, Upureti and Akhaldab in the Mtskheta municipality, Georgia, Trend reports citing the company's statement.

The statement said 8,695 gas pipelines were laid down as part of the project, which allowed 126 houses in the villages to receive gas.

The work was carried out for two months.

The project was implemented as part of a three-year gas supply plan.

Previously, the company completed the supply of gas to the village of Meore-Sviri in the municipality of Zestaponi. Under the project, 10,175 gas pipelines were laid, as a result of which 147 houses were provided with gas.

The Georgian gas transportation company, on the basis of a government decree, constantly carries out the design and construction work necessary to supply gas to the public.
