Turkmenistan and Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) have noted the importance of enhancing cooperation on attracting investment in the country's oil and gas projects, Trend reports with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
This was discussed during a videoconference with Director General of ADFD Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi on June 17, 2020.
The Turkmen side was presented by heads and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Central Bank of Turkmenistan, the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs and Turkmengas State Concern.
The parties discussed development of bilateral cooperation in the economic, financial, oil and gas fields. Thus, the parties noted the importance of expanding cooperation based on the principles of mutual trust and respect between Turkmenistan and the largest companies of the United Arab Emirates.
ADFD defines help to developing countries achieve sustainable economic growth and reduce poverty as its main mission. To do so, they provide concessionary financial resources with the requirements of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
