Volume of crude oil and oil products transported to west of Iran revealed

BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 14

West branch of Iranian Oil Pipeline and Telecommunication Company transported 929,000 million liters of crude oil and oil products to the west of Iran during first six months of the current Iranian year (March 20-September 21, 2020), Deputy Director of the company Moslem Moslemi said, Trend reports citing the company’s website.

According to the Moslemi, about 439 million liters of crude oil and 490 million liters of oil products were processed and were transported to distribution companies through 8, 10, and 16-inch pipelines during the reporting period.

He added that 57.8 million liters of crude oil were transported to Kermanshah Oil Refining Company through an 8-inch pipeline over 6 months of the current Iranian year.

The deputy director noted that about 388 million liters of oil products including diesel, gasoline, and white oil were delivered to the National Iranian Oil Production Distribution Company’s branch in Kermanshah Company over the same period.

“About 13.5 million liters of white oil was transported to Bistoon Petrochemical Company in six months,” he said.

Moslemi stressed also, 100 million liters of oil products were transported to refineries and petrochemical facilities in Kermanshah Province via a 10-inch pipeline.

Within this period, 38.7 million liters of diesel were transported to the Sanandaj Combined Cycle Power Plant, according to the deputy director.

The west branch of the Iranian Oil Pipeline and Telecommunication Company transports crude oil and oil products to the west of Iran via pipelines with a length of 236 km, 171 km, and 127 km.
